  1905 March 5 Sunday died- Sampson HOAR, aged about 55 years, died Friday night at his home in Trimountain of cancer of the stomach. He lived at Trimountain mine almost from its opening. He was born in CORNWALL, ENGLAND and came to the United States when a young man. He worked as a miner until 3 weeks ago when he was too sick to work. He is survived by his wife and nine children- Miss May; and sons- Fred ; Albert; Sampson ; Arthur ; Charles; Walter; Russell and Howard. The funeral will take place tomorrow at St James Trimountain Methodist church.
