Deceased Name: Hazel M. Gentzler Born In Maryland
DOVER Hazel M. Gentzler, 88, of Dover Township, formerly of York, died at 5:53 a.m. Wednesday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilson Leroy Gentzler.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gentzler was born June 16, 1906, in Carroll County, Md. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Cora (Spurrier) Burgee.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Willing Workers Sunday School Class and September House Senior Center.
Mrs. Gentzler is survived by three sons, Donald L. Gentzler of Dover, Dale G. Gentzler of York, and Gary Gentzler of Cincinnati; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Burgee of Frederick, Md., and Robert Burgee of Riverdale, Md.; and three sisters, Eva Albert and Doris Hoar, both of Brunswick, Md., and Joan Giles of Aurora, Colo.
Officiating at the service will be her pastors, the Revs. David P. McCullough and Mark S. Jordan.

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Eva Gertrude Albert, 85, of 115 9th Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.
Born March 4, 1916, in Plain No. 4, Md., she was the daughter of the late Howard Eldridge and Cora Spurrier Burgee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Raymond Albert.
She sold World Book Encyclopedias for 12 years and worked for the government for four years.
She was a member of New York Hill United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years, was a member of John Wesley Society, the Joy Class, United Methodist Women and Homemakers. She was also affiliated with First United Methodist Church.
She organized and taught kindergarten for five years in Brunswick.
She was a member of the PTA and Senior Citizens at Brunswick.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Ahalt of Jefferson, Md.; two sons, Dennis Albert of Sharpsburg, and Brent Albert of Livingston, N.J.; two sisters, Doris Hoar of Brunswick, and Joan Giles of Denver; two brothers, William Burgee of Frederick, and Robert Burgee of Hyattsville, Md.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlyne Frock; two brothers, Paul Burgee and George Burgee; and a stepsister, Hazel Gentzler.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New York Hill United Methodist Church, Brunswick. The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick, which will be open after 9 a.m.
