Deceased Name: Gwendolyn Hoar
COLCHESTER - Gwendolyn Hoar, 87, of Terre Haute, Ind., formerly of Colchester, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Meadows Manor North Nursing Facility in Terre Haute.
Born Nov. 22, 1914, in Colchester to Edward and Marvel Melling King, she married Jack R. Hoar. He died in 1968.
She also was preceded in death by one sister.
Surviving are one son, Samuel, one daughter, Jackie Krumreich; one sister, Peg Booth; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She retired as an admitting manager from St. Anthony Hospital.
Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be at noon Saturday at Auburn Cemetery. Brad Booth will officiate. There will be no visitation. Jones Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Deceased Name: Patricia Irish
COLCHESTER - Patricia J. Irish, 74, of 310 W. McLain St. died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2001, at her residence.
Born June 30, 1927, in Colchester to Edward and Marvel Melling King, she married James F. Irish on Jan. 16, 1948, in Colchester. He died April 30, 1999.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Charles ''Chuck'' of Macomb; two daughters, Jan Irish Kurowski and Nancy (and Marty) Johnson, both of Colchester; two sisters, Gwen Hoar of Terre Haute, Ind., and Peggy Booth of Colchester; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She had worked at Nickson Oil & Tire in Macomb for 20 years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Jones Mortuary, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. The Rev. Brad Booth will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in rural Colchester.
Memorials may be made to Friendship Cemetery or to Colchester Library.
