Obituary:
James William Hoar, well-known Baltimore and Ohio Railroad conductor, died at his home in Rosemont, near Brunswick Friday morning at 2 o'clock, of pneumonia, aged 62 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, the Knights of Pythias and the Masonic Lodge of Brunswick.
Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Melvin O. Hoar, and Mrs. Alberta Taylor, both of Brunswick; Miss Beulah V. Hoar, at home; Carlton E., Alfred W., and Arthur L. Hoar, all of the United States Navy, stationed at San Pedro, California. Two brothers also survive. They are Robert A. and Charles B. Hoar both of Middletown, Va. Another brother, Frank G. Hoar, died in Brunswick about seven months ago.
The funeral will take place Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the late home, conducted by Rev. Charles E. Ely. Interment in Park Heights cemetery. C.H. Feete and Son, funeral directors.
