Seth [Hodges] left Norton when quite young and went to Taunton and there married a wife so young that he was appointed her guardian. Seth married 2nd Mrs. Elizabeth Tyler in 1763/4 and had Seth Hodges born Feb. 19, 1765.

Seth Hodges, (1722-1809), was a member of the Committee of Safety of Pomfret, Vt., 1776. He raised a company, 1777, in Col. Joseph Marsh's regiment and served on the Hudson. He was born in Norton, Mass., died in Pomfret, Vt.
