Obituary:
Ellsworth Reporter Newspaper (Kansas), 16 March 1916, front page, column 6 states:
Henry Horr was born in England October 8, 1828, and died in Ellsworth, Kansas, March 10, 1916, aged 87 years, 5 months and 2 days.
Mr. Horr came to the United States with his parents at age of 4 years. In 1857 he was united in marriage to Miss Ardilla Warren. To this union were born six children, one boy and five girls. Mr. Horr moved to Marshfield, Webster County, Mo., in 1884, where in 1890 he united with the Church of Christ and remained a member to the time of this death. His wife died January, 1914, since which time he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Hattie Bath, of Ellsworth, Kansas, at whose home he died as stated above. Mr. Horr is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ella Pulliam of Dayton, Wash., and Mrs. Bath.
Funeral services were held in the Forth Harker Presbyterian church on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, attended by a goodly number of Mr. & Mrs. Bath's neighbors and friends. Services conducted by the Re. J.R. Tercy. Burial was in the church cemetary.
