      Obituary:
      AMY ELLEN (HOAR) PALMISCIANO, 50, of Peters Way, a retired grade school teacher, died Sunday at the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice House in Needham, Mass.
      She was the wife of Paul A. Palmisciano Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Palmisciano celebrated their 26th wedding annniversary this spring. Born in Boston, the daughter of Mary (McHugo) Hoar of Roslindale, Mass., and the late Charles G. Hoar, she lived in North Attleboro for the past 20 years, except for a three-year period when she lived in London, England.
      She graduated from St. Claires High School in Roslindale, Mass., earned her bachelors degree from Stonehill College, and took post- graduate work at Lesley College.
      Mrs. Palmisciano taught the fifth grade in the Easton School System, before retiring in 1994. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro. She was a member of the Easton Teachers Association.
      While in London, she taught English as a second language to the Baghdadeshi commmunity in London, and received the American Womens Club in England Woman of the Year award in 1998.
      Besides her mother and husband, she leaves two sons, Matthew P. Palmisciano of Kingsville, Texas, and Paul A Palmisciano Jr. of North Attleboro; a sister, Mary McGowan of Hull, Mass.; four brothers, John P. Hoar of Walpole, Mass., Charles Hoar of Brighton, Mass., and Michael and Kevin Hoar of Roslindale; and several nieces and nephews.
      The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. in the Commonwealth Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. John the Evangelist Church, North Main Street, Attleboro. Commital services will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
