Obituary:
Wanda Mae Kray
Funeral services for Wanda Mae Kray, 79, of Jefferson, a homemaker, will be held noon Monday at the Burton Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Ave., in Ashtabula.
Mrs. Kray died June 20, 2003, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
Born Sept. 27, 1923, in Ashtabula, she was a lifelong Ashtabula area resident.
She was a member of Bula Calvary United Methodist Church and founded the Bula Calvary United Methodist Bible Study. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and sewing.
Survivors are her son, Carl (Ruby) Kray of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Kathryn (Richard R.) Baker of Painesville, and Bonnie Lou of Ashtabula; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Ann (Jerry) Bosworth of Painesville.
Her husband, Frank Charles Kray, whom she married August 1947, in Ashtabula, died July 22, 1993. Her parents, Benjamin and Elsie Mae (Durfee) Hoare; and brother, Wilson, are also deceased.
Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pastor Pat Fisher of Leon-Richmond United Methodist Church will officiate the services. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Bula Calvary United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
