Hescock, Greenfield builder Milton S. Hescock, 85, of 30 Graves Road, the co-owner of Coleman-Hescock Home Builders, died Tuesday at Franklin Medical Center. He co-owned and operated the construction firm for 10 years. He had worked for many years for contractors in the Greenfield area. Born in South Newfane, Vt., he was a graduate of Greenfield High School. He leaves his wife of 64 years, the former Esther C. Murley; two sons, Neil M. of Greenfield and Ronald E. of Gill; a daughter, Shirley E. Berry of Easthampton; a brother, Erwin of Greenfield, a sister, Icaphine Hoar of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at Kostanski Funeral Home, with burial at Green River Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
