      Obituary:
      Margaret Sue Hoar, age 71, of Mount Vernon passed away at her home after an extended illness with her family at her side on Sunday, May 8, 2011.
      She was born on February 12, 1940 in Whitesville, West Virginia to the late Paul and Helen (Slack) Bragg. Margaret was employed and retired from the Mount Vernon Developmental Center where she was a Therapeutic Program Worker. She attended the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Margaret liked to needlepoint, garden, and all kinds of outdoor activities. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended and supported her grandchildren in all their activities. Margaret was known for her great sense of humor and always having a smile on her face.
      She is survived by her husband, of over 51 years, Melvin Hoar; two daughters, Pamela (Mark) Sheasby of Danville, Patricia Woods of Clintonville; eight grandchildren, Brittany Woods, Ashley Woods, Rachel (Rob) Sheasby Hays, Megan Sheasby, Jeremiah Hoar, Benjamin Hoar, Jonathan Hoar, Elizabeth Hoar; four brothers, Ronald (Susie) Bragg of Buckeye Lake, Charles Bragg of Buckeye Lake, George (Marilyn) Bragg of Newark, Paul (Betty) Bragg of Coolville; her brother-in-law Carl Shaneyfelt of Newark and her daughter-in-law Tish Hoar of Mount Vernon.
      Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her son Stephen Hoar, her granddaughter Rebecca Ann Sheasby, and her sister Diane Shaneyfelt.
      There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service in Ebenezer Cemetery at a later date. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Margaret Sue Hoar.
      The family would like to thank Hospice of Knox County for their wonderful care and compassion.

      BUCKEYE LAKE: Ronald L Bragg, 76, of Buckeye Lake, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1937 in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, son of the late Paul and Helen (Slack) Bragg. Ron proudly served his Country as a Marine from 1954 to 1956. A mechanic and craftsman at heart, Ron enjoyed working on and building various things. He loved browsing yard sales to see what sort of good deal he may find, but most of all he loved his Ohio State Buckeyes. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Thelma "Susie" Bragg; four sons, Ronald, II (Suzi), Bryan (Kathy), Daniel (Alice), and Richard Bragg; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, George, Charles and Paul, Jr. (Betty) Bragg; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Hoar and Dianna Shaneyfelt. Friends may call at the HEBRON Home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 N. 7th St., on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Ron's life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Irene Wilson officiating.
