Bedient 65 Beverly St. Dalton, MA 01226 An undated clipping from the notebook of Georgia Pangborn: Georgia Pangborn, 94. Former Levering resident Georgia Pangborn, 94, died Nov. 29, 1988, in Lancaster, Pa. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Levering United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pangborn was born and raised in Levering. During the late 1940s , she served as a correspondent for the Petoskey News-Review. Following the death of her husband Morton in 1966, she moved to Pennsylvania where she has resided since. While a resident of Northern Michigan, Mrs. Pangborn was very active with the Levering United Methodist Church. Survivors include: a daughter Mrs. Phillip (Marie) Bedient of Lancaster and a son John and his wife Tresa Pangborn of Midland; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the Levering United Methodist Church.
