Obituary:
Observer-Reporter (Washington, PA) - July 24, 2005
Washington, Pa. - Jason D. Dillie, 32, of Washington, Pa., formerly of Claysville, Pa., and Weirton, W.Va., died at 10:55 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., from injuries received in an automobile accident on July 17, 2005, in Imperial, Pa.
He was born Aug. 21, 1972, in Wheeling, W.Va., a son of Roger Duane and Valorie Marcine Horr Dillie, of Washington, Pa., and had resided in Claysville and Weirton, prior to moving to Washington in July 2004.
Mr. Dillie was a 1990 graduate of McGuffey High School and graduated in 2000 from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Dillie was a hairdresser all of his working life and was employed by Studio A & J in McMurray, Pa.
He was an avid hockey and soccer fan and enjoyed alternative music.
Also surviving, in addition to his parents, are one son, Thaiddeas Dillie; one daughter, Elijah Dillie, both of Weirton; one brother, Chad E., husband of Bobbi Jo Chytil Dillie; and one sister, Tina, wife of Dewey Richter, all of Washington, Pa.; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Liebelt Napier, of Sterling Heights, Mich.; one nephew, Jacob Downey; three nieces, Taryn Dillie, Brighton and Caidence Richter; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are his maternal grandfather, Virgil Horr; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Evelyn Travis Dillie; Everett and Lydia King Mahoney, adoptive parents of Valorie Dillie.
Friends were received from 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 25, and will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, in Claysville Christian Church, Claysville, Pa., where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, with the Rev. Meade Lacock officiating. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery, Donegal Twp., Washington County, Pa.
The family requests memorial contributions to a trust fund to be established at a later time for his children.
