BELCHERTOWN - Louise E. (Corliss) Wadsworth Blood, 81, of Chauncey Walker St., died Saturday at Mary Lane Hospital, Ware. Born in Ware April 16, 1922, she lived most of her life in Belchertown. She spent three years in Montana while married to her first husband Walter M. Wadsworth to whom she was married for nearly 50 years. Louise was the co-founder and 19 year co-director of the Belchertown Senior Center, which was started in 1975. She retired in 1990. She had worked previously for the former Texon in S. Hadley. Louise was a communicant of St. Francis Church. Predeceased by her first husband in 1991, she is survived by her second husband, Dana Blood, Sr., along with a daughter Patricia Lavoie of Titusville, FL. She also leaves two grandsons Michael and Steven and two great grandchildren Andrew and Haley. Louise is also survived by Dana's children, Dana W. Jr. of Amesbury. Roger H. of Agawam and Carole Ann Wilson of Belchertown. Louise was prececeased by four children, Louise A., Carol A., and Carl and Robert. A memorial mass will be held in St. Francis Church, Wednesday December 3rd at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home.
