Notes - Notes from Portraits and Biographical Album of Huron County, published by Chapman Brothers, Chicago, in 1884. In addition to the information given in the Michigan Manual, it mentions that Edgar Lansing Lincoln's parents were Milton and Lydia Carpenter Lincoln. They resided in Massachusetts for a period and then moved to Tompkins County, NY. There were 8 children in the family: Catherine, Diana, Amelia, Eugene, Lewis, Lorain, and Lansing. Lansing was the youngest.
