Donovan Daniel H. Donovan, sr., 66, of Mt. Morris, died Sunday in a Rochester hospital after a long illness. He was born in Mt. Morris, and had been employed as a garage mechanic until his illness. He is survived by his wife, Florence, in Florida; three sons, Daniel, jr. of Mt. Morris, Carl of Leicester, and William of Nunda; four brothers, John of Conesus lake, Paul of Dansville, Richard of Sonyea, and Edward of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Frederick Horr of Mt. Morris and Mrs. Michael McNeil of Livonia; and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris this Wednesday morning, followed by requiem mass in St. Patrick's church. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery.
