Obituary:
J. Arthur Horr was born at the ranch home in the Beaver Community, Converse County, Wyoming; the son of Charles W. and Uree D. (Adamson) Horr. Art ranched on the family homestead 18 miles southwest of Douglas. He married Ruby M. Cryst on May 10, 1936, in Alliance, Nebraska. He is survived by his daughter, Betty Huntzinger and her husband, John of Fort Collins, Colo.; a sister, Esther Kirkman of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Horr of Douglas; four grandchildren, Tami and Jim Nachtman, Lynn and Vere Cooper, Dean and Rikki Horr and Mark Horr all of Douglas; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on Dec. 17, 1989; one son, Arthur C. "Bud" Horr, who died in an airplane crash on Nov. 29, 1983; two brothers and two sisters.
