Milly was 45 yrs old at the birth of her last child. She buried three of her five children. Two died from the Civil War, both in Feb 1864, son Thomas on Feb 5, 1864, and son Dewitt on Feb 28, 1864, with her daughter Mary dying just a few days later on Mar 1, 1864.
