Dorothy B. Hoar, 93, of Epping, N.H., a deaconess at the Epping Community Church, died Monday, Feb. 9, in her home.
She was born in Boston, attended Miss Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and the Westover School in Middlebury, Conn.
She was president of the Epping Women's Club, president of the Epping Garden Club, formerly on the Board of Directors of the Ellis Memorial in Boston and was active in community affairs.
Mrs. Hoar leaves two sons, state Rep. John Jr. of Epping, N.H., and Franklin R. Hoar of California; a daughter, Deborah H. Marvit of Portsmouth, N.H.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, Mass.
