  Obituary: Amsterdam Evening Recorder Published: 13 Sept 1901 John Horr, aged 63 years, died at 2:15 o'clock this morning of paralysis, at his home on Boardmen street. Mr. Horr was an exemplary citizen, a devoted husband and an indulgent father, and his death will be deeply deplored by a wide circle of acquaintances. He is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Eugene Warren of Carthage, N.Y., and Mrs. Leon Nicholas of this city, and four sons, John, William, Edward and James Horr, of this city. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's church Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
