Caroline E. Hoar (aka Carrie) was born in 1852/53 in New York. Buried in Middleville, New York.
She married Frederick Fox. Frederick was the son of Daniel Fox and Sarah M. lnu.
Their only known child was Sarah Fox born 2 Feb 1873. Sarah married Frederick Keeler 2 Jan 1890 in West Frankfort, New York. They had five children, Maude, Mabel, Florence, William and Edith.
Caroline's parents were Francis Hoar b. cir 1830 and Sarah C. lnu b. cir 1830. Caroline's siblings were Francis H., Julia, Issac (Ike), Mary E., Horace and Eliza J. Hoar. They show up in Herkimer County, New York in 1860, 1880 and 1900.
My interest lies in Caroline Hoar Fox and her parents. I want to know about her marriage to Frederick Fox and about her parents and grandparents. Why are census records missing for 1870. When did she die? The whole family has centered around the Herkimer, Little Falls, Manheim, Middleville areas of Herkimer County.
One last thing. Somewhere in this line is some Mohawk blood. Who and where?
