  [[ Obituary: Intelligencer Journal (Lancaster, PA) - June 19, 2000 Deceased Name: WILLIAM L. EBY, 64, OF LANCASTER William L. Eby, 64, of 68 Linda Ave., formerly of White Horse, died of natural causes Saturday after a brief illness. Eby worked for the former New Holland North America. He retired in 1991 after 27 years. He served in the U.S. Army. A member of Pequea Presbyterian Church, Gap, he was a former trustee. He also was a member of Pleasant View Hunting Camp, Clinton County, and Penn Dutch Sportsman's Association. Born in White Horse, he was the son of the late Chester W. and Gladys Yelk Eby. He was married to JoAn Houser Eby. His first wife, Mary Ann Hoar Eby, died in 1993. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, David L., married to Trina M. Dagen Eby of New Holland; a daughter, Laura A. Eby of Lancaster; four stepdaughters, Cathy M. Zeger, Lori A., married to Duane Mendenhall, and Jennifer L., married to Walter J. Keiser, all of Lancaster, and Michelle L., married to Omar S. Fisher of Paradise; four grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Chester R., married to Evelyn Summers Eby of Kinzers, John I., married to Viola Landis Eby of Lola, Robert, married to Betty Herman Eby of Willow Street, and J. Richard, married to Cathy Beck Eby of New Holland.
