Deceased Name: RUTH D. HOAR
RETIRED PHONE OPERATOR,77 Ruth Duncan Hoar, 77, retired bank telephone operator, died Tuesday at West Jersey Hospital-Berlin.
A Williamstown resident, she lived in Haddonfield for 38 years before moving to Williamstown a year ago. She was born in Collingswood.
Mrs. Hoar was a retired telephone operator, working for 30 years for the Bank of New Jersey in its Camden and Moorestown offices.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield.
She is survived by her husband, Dellmar W.; a son, James D.; two daughters, Bonnie R. Friedman and Susan L. Ulmer; five grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Holl-Murphy Funeral Home, West End Avenue at Kings Highway, Haddonfield, where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.

Deceased Name: GLADYS DUNCAN SCHERMERHORN
GLADYS DUNCAN SCHERMERHORN, 76, of Westmont, formerly of Haddonfield, died Monday at West Jersey Hospital-Marlton.
Mrs. Schermerhorn had been a telephone operator for New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. for more than 40 years. She was a World War II Army veteran serving in the Women's Army Corps from 1943 to 1944. She was a 1937 graduate of Collingswood High School. Born in Kirkwood, she was a longtime Haddonfield resident before moving to Westmont in the late 1960s.
Survivors: a daughter, Sally J. Landers of Holland, Pa.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Norman Duncan of Cherry Hill and William Duncan of Glendora; and two sisters, Beatrice D. Kirk and Ruth Hoar, both of Haddonfield.
Services: viewing, noon tomorrow, Holl-Murphy Funeral Home, West End Avenue at Kings Highway, Haddonfield; funeral, 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home; burial, Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
