Mrs. Madeleine Mulford Batten, daughter of Vincent S. Mulford of Montclair, and the Grapevines, Southampton, was married yesterday to Robert Johnson Horr, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Newton Horr of Portsmouth, Ohio. The ceremony was performed at Oak Knoll, the Mulford residence at Montclair, the Rev. Elwood Erickson officiating.
The bride attended the Kimberley School and the Masters School. Her marriage to George Batten, which took place In June, 1927, was terminated by divorce on July 13 at Reno, Nev. They have two daughters.
Mrs. H. Christian Sonne, Donald L. Mulford and Vincent S. Mulford Jr. are her sister and brothers. Their father married Mrs. Edith Loughborough Black last June 19. Mr. Horr is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, class of 1918. After a short trip, Mr. and Mrs. Horr will live in Manhattan.
