Moved from New Salem, Franklin Co MA to Carthage, Lewis Co (now Jefferson Co) NY Is listed on the Lewis County NY 1807 census as is his brother Robert. Isaac was a Captain in War of 1812. Also lived in Worthington, Franklin Co Ohio, returning to Jefferson Co New York. Two of his sons become physicians, Asa and William Shakespeare. 1810 Census: Lewis co, New York Image: 18 Isaac How/Horr ? 1 male under 10 - son Isaac 2 males under 26- self Isaac-25, 1 extra male 1 female under 10- dau Nancy 1 female under 26- wife Nancy same page as Luther Hoar, husband of sister Elizabeth Horr. I suspect the extra male to be brother Willis. Returned to Jefferson Co NY to reside in 1827 after the fire of his mercantile business in Ohio. Could not find him in 1820 or 1830 census.
