The SSDI gives a first notice of death date of Apr 1982 for the person of this name with this birth date, and a final residence of Pacoima, Los Angeles, California; there is, however, no CA death record for him, which is consistent with the death situs of Phoenix; am doing research on behalf of living descendants, please e-mail if I am in error.

I have found a Raymond H. Achenbach (parents: Henry Achenbach and Mary E. Kellogg) married Helen Wooley (parents: G. W. Woolley and Mae Kinneman) on April 26, 1928.
Raymond was born at Spencer Iowa and was 29 years old and never been married before and living in Boise, Idaho. Helen was born at Berrien Springs, Michigan and was 29 years old and divorced from "Levelle" and was living in Helena, Montana.
They were married by a Christian minister and witnesses were: Mrs. Annie D. Young and Eleanor Frantti.

Funeral rites for James Luther Hoar were conducted by the Rev. David Johnson at the home Tuesday afternoon and at the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment took place in Woodlawn cemetery.
Messrs. Jos. Stoll, Byron McDougal, John Flatley, Hugh Henry, D.C. Elliott and Nells Nelson bearing the casket. The many beautiful floral tributes were in charge of members from the Royal Neighbor lodge. Mrs. Benson Schaub rendered two solos.
Mr. Hoar was born in Restigoche County, New Brunswick, Canada on July 1, 1850 and was therefore nearing his 87th birthday. His marriage to Miss Mary Dickie took place in Canada on July 6, 1881, and they came to Wisconsin that year.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter Lillian, Mrs. William Swienke of Chicago, four sons, Edward A. at home, William E. and James A. Michigan. A son and a daughter passed away in early childhood. Two grandchildren, Geneva and Earl Hoar, Jr., of Oconto, a brother Edward aged 96 and a sister Mrs. James Hamilton of Canada also survive.
Mr. Hoar had been ill for about two months with complications due to his advanced years, and death came to relieve him from his sufferings at two o'clock Saturday afternoon at the city hospital. The deceased man was well versed in woodcraft, having worked on river drives and in lumber mills all his life. He was employed by the Falls Manufacturing Company for many years.

JAMES WILLIAMS DEAD IN 100TH YEAR
Hughesdale resident lacked but few months of attaining century mark.
ILL BUT NINE DAYS
Born in Canada, deceased led an outdoor life- was heavy smoker, but seldom drank.
Lacking a few months of reaching the century mark, James Williams of Central avenue, Hughesdale, died yesterday afternoon after an illness of nine days. Up to the time of his final illness he did not experience any serious sickness.
Born June 11, 1830 at Granby, Ontario, Canada, Mr Williams led an outdoor life during most of his 99 years. He was a farmer in Canada, where he passed the first 40 years of his life. He emigrated to Pawtucket at the two-score mark. There he worked as a laborer. He also did some trapping in the woods around Pawtucket.
Always a quiet, easy going man, he never engaged in any stimulating or exciting pastimes or callings. He was a heavy smoker, but he seldom drank strong liquor. he was a hearty eater, and partook of a good meal Christmas Day. He had no taste for music, but was a good whistler, according to his son, James H. Williams, with whom he made his home for the past two years.
For 38 years he worked very little. He sat around, walked about and talked seldom. He gave up smoking 25 years ago.
He was married to Mary King of Granby at that town 67 years ago. The couple had nine children, two of them now dead. Mrs. Williams died four years ago. The children who survive are Mrs Frank Cooney of Central Falls, Mrs Emma Golding, Mrs Mary J. Patenaude, Mrs Ida Hoar, Mrs Annie Brown, Mrs Alice McDonald, all of Providence, and James H. Williams of Hughesdale. There are (16?) grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr Williams lived for a time at Plainville, Mass., and Cranston, where his wife died. He lived with his daughter, Mrs. Brown, until two years ago.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
