September 11, 2000 Quad-City Times Obituaries
WALCOTT, Iowa -- Hattie M. Muhs, Walcott, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at her home. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Walcott Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the mortuary. Hattie Marie Faulkner was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Washington state, to Gordon and Della (West) Faulkner. She married Edwin Louis Muhs on Feb. 11, 1973. He died Dec. 25, 1988. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America and was very active in the Walcott American Legion Post 548 Auxiliary. Hattie enjoyed flowers and spending time with her many friends and family. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Merrilee and Kenneth Rochau, Orange, Texas; granddaughter, Nicole Ramsey, Orange, Texas; great-granddaughter, Baylee Ramsey, Orange, Texas; sister, Darlene Simon, Prince George, B.C., Canada; brother, Patrick Faulkner, Mission City, B.C., Canada; special nephews and their families, Delbert and Carol Lamp, Walcott, and Mike and Nancy Ingler, Walcott; and a special niece, Carol Snay, Walcott.
