15 years, Mrs. Edith
S. Hobart, 82, widow of Charles
Hobart, died Tuesday afternoon at
the Burke Nursing Home, 097
East Ave., where she had been a
patient for two years.
Born in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Hobart
taught school there for a
number of years before her marriage.
Before moving to the
Rapids, the couple lived in Buffalo,
where Mr. Hobart was employed
as a motorman by the International
Railway before his retirement.
Mr. and Mrs. Hobart
spent Winters In Florida for some
time.
Survivors are a sister and brother,
Miss Rosa Santee of Ocean
Park, N. J., and William J. Santee
of Los Angeles, also several
nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday at
3 o'clock at Gaul Funeral Home,
2S3 East Ave., the Rev. Byron V.
Berry, pastor of the Evangelical
United Brethren Church, Rapids,
officiating. Burial will be In Forest
Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo.

Edith married Charles H. Hobart. Charles was born about 1861 in Lockport, Niagara Co, New York, USA; died on 23 Mar 1950 in Lockport, Niagara Co, New York, USA; was buried in Buffalo, Erie Co, New York, USA (Forest Lawn Cemetery). [Group Sheet]
