Carol Mekalsen
Carol Ann Mekalsen, 48, of Kingston died of cancer April 29, 2001, at home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Port Angeles to Rodger and Dorothea Kentner (Cary) Ebbs. She graduated in 1971 from Lincoln High School in Seattle.
She worked in landscaping and was a care giver for 20 years.
She enjoyed animals and crocheting.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna Hoar of Hansville; a brother, Jeff Jensen of Lake City; a sister, Kathy Wood of Hansville; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Ebbs.
A potluck celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. May 26 at 8581 Gust Halvor Road in Hansville. Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.
