The Genome Reference Consortium - human is a body created to further develop and maintain the Human Genome Reference Model. It was initially developed and released as part of the HGP. The model(s) are maintained at both the main USAs NIH funding organization site as well as the EUs European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI).
