  METCALF GENEALOGY - PAGES 299 -309. p. 307: John Metcalf, second son of Deacon Jonathan Metcalf and Hannah Kendrick, was born at Dedham, MA, on Mar. 20, 1678 - died Oct. 6, 1749 at Dedham. By three wives John Metcalf fathered eighteen children. His first wife was Mehitable Savels, or Saville. They married on April 29, 1701 - she died on Mar. 29, 1712. They had six children. p. 309: After the death of his first wife, John Metcalf married her cousin, BETHIA SAVELS, on Feb. 12, 1713. She died May 22, 1717 after delivering three children: - Jonathan b. May 4, 1714 - BETHIA b. Dec. 31, 1715 - Infant b./d. May 22, 1717
