  [[ Obituary: Union-News (Springfield, MA) - February 1, 2000 Deceased Name: Harriet M. Donahue Harriet M. (Hoar) Donahue, 78, of this city, died Sunday at an area nursing home. She worked at the former Springfield Armory and was a longtime dietician at the Buckley Nursing Home and the Holyoke Soldiers' Home. She retired in 1982. Born here, she was a Holyoke High School graduate. Her husband, William J. Donahue, died in 1987. She leaves three daughters, Maureen A. Stone of Chicopee, Joanne M. Hopkinson of Clearwater, Fla., and Kathleen Donahue of Braintree; two sisters, Carol Hano of South Hadley and Barbara Mulvaney of the Florence section of Northampton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday morning at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home and Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Forestdale Cemetery. Calling hours are late Wednesday afternoon through the early evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 11 Campus Lane, Easthampton, MA 01027, or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 710 West 168th St., New York, NY 10032.
