      Obituaries for the week ending Feb. 11, 2006
      Obituary:
      Clarence Hoard Jr., 81, of Lostine died Feb. 3 at the Adventist Medical Center in Portland. Burial will be today Feb. 8 at the Lostine Cemetery.
      Mr. Hoard was born Nov. 15, 1924, to Clarence and Ruba Mae Brown Hoard in Portland. He served in the Marines during World War II and married Loretta A. McDonald Sept. 31, 1968 at Sandy. He worked as a truck driver for 25 years, as caretaker of the Lostine Cemetery for 13 years and most recently as a handyman. He made handcrafted airplanes.
      Survivors include his wife of Lostine; children, Wayne Hoard of Junction City, David Hoard of Brush Prairie, Wash., Jane Conway of Newberg, Donna Haggstrom of Sandy and Carl Hoard of Portland; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
      Memorials may be made to Home Health Hospice in care of Bollman Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Enterprise.
