      Obituary:
      HOAR, Frederick John (Jack)
      After a long and happy life, Jack passed away on August 18th, 2010 in the arms of his granddaughter Amanda. He was in his 93rd year.
      A veteran of WWII, Jack was predeceased by his loving wife Ethel. Caring father of Larry and the late Jean Hoar and Louise and Wayne Aasen. Remembered by his grandchildren Tristanne, Tyler (Susan), Melanie, Amanda (Matt) & Richard (Melle). Great-grandfather to Charlotte, Alastair & Owen, Coral & a player to be named later. Survived by his brother Jim & predeceased by his sister Jean Roberts.
      Mr. Hoar will be resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL 110 Dundas Street East in Whitby on Thursday, August 19th from 7 ? 9pm. and on Friday from 11am ? 12pm.
      Service in the chapel Friday August 20th at 12pm with interment to follow at GROVESIDE CEMETERY in Whitby.
