Thanks Lynne. I had that info from the Hoard web site where I see that you are also a member.I know that Bruce is listed as Bruce Edward there but I have a copy of his Homestead application stating his name as Bruce Earl Hoard with a wife and 2 children " not in residence". He resided in Sintaluta , Saskatchewan at that time and worked as a travelling salesman.We do not know what happened to Elizabeth Elva Brown, his first wife. He married my grandmother, Mary MacDonald Christie , and had 4 children with her. She passed away in 1971 before I had started my research and the rest of the family cannot remember the married names of the daughters from the first family . My dad remembers them corresponding with his father though and a cousin James or Jim Hubble who lived nearby in Fairmount , Saskatchewan.
