Rimmel Beloved mother and grandmother Anna B. Rimmel, 81, of Dilliner, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, with her loving family at her side, in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 5, 1930, in Pierceville, W.Va., daughter of the late David and Nellie Rogers Hoar. Deceased are her husband, Joseph "Jody" Rimmel; a daughter, Sandra Jean Rimmel, in infancy; a stepson, Joseph "Snook" Cost; a granddaughter, Jamie Rawlings Griffin; a great-grandson, Kyle Joseph Griffin; three sisters, Mary Smithley, Virginia Pascute and Rozella Bunt; and a brother, Zedkar "Zip" Orr. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family. Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Josephine and Jim Rawlings and Charles "Bud" and JoAnn Rimmel, all of Dilliner, and Karen and Kevin Morris of Point Marion; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several caring nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until 11 a.m., the time of service, Wednesday, January 4, in Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, with the Rev. David Lee Corob officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf's Cemetery, Dilliner. www.herod-rishel.com
