Deceased Name: W. WARREN PERLEY
W. Warren Perley, formerly of Wessex Street, died Thursday in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was born in New Gloucester, a son of William and Hattie Eaton Perley, attended schools there and graduated from New Gloucester High School.
Mr. Perley worked for Armour Meat Products for 35 years as a food wholesaler and was later employed by Sam Prawer & Co., the grocery wholesaler.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Masons.
His wife, Dorothy Horr Perley, died in 1989.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. The Rev. Robert Frederich will officiate. Burial will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park.
