B.8 Anne Stewart Pollock Hoar, 76, of Avon, Connecticut, beloved wife of Warren T. Hoar passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2007, at Avon Healthcare Center. Mrs. Hoar was born in New York City lived in Lake Forest, Illinois, Farmington, Connecticut, and San Diego, California, before returning to the greater Hartford area two years ago. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. Along with her husband, Mrs. Hoar is survived by her four daughters, Page Pelliconi of Alexandria, Virginia, Lee Beazell of Charlottesville, Virginia, Kyle Cannon of West Hartford, Connecticut, Kim Marrs of Old Lyme, Connecticut; her four stepsons, Chris Hoar of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kevin Hoar of Black Point, Connecticut, Peter Hoar of Temecula, California, Shawn Hoar of West Hartford, Connecticut; and a stepdaughter, Shelly Jones of Greenwich, Conneecticut, she also leaves her brother, Oren Pollock of Chicago, Illinois; and a sister, Mary Pollock of Wethersfield, Connecticut; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Stewart Frances Phelps and by her stepdaughter, Julie Ingellis. A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Farmington, Connecticut, at a later date. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Stewart Frances Phelps Scholarship Fund, c/o Renbrook School, 2865 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117.
