  [[Obituary: http://classifieds.mainetoday.com/classified/leon-scott-horr-65-scarborough-leon-scott-horr-65-cape-elizabeth-and-long-island-passed-a Leon "Scott" Horr, 65 SCARBOROUGH -- Leon "Scott" Horr, 65, of Cape Elizabeth and Long Island, passed away Aug. 12, 2009, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, after a courageous battle against cancer. Scott was born in Portland on Feb. 4, 1944, the son of Leon and Leila Horr. He is survived by his wife Sharron "Cheri"; son Jason; daughter-in-law Kathy; three grandchildren, Erika, Tory and Kierra; and a son Kory. Scott was a summertime lobsterman all his life and taught school for the South Portland School Department for 32 years. He served in the U.S. Army as an instructor during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m., with a funeral service at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at the Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland.
