Lucy Allen, wife of Hiram Horr, is a daughter of Josiah Allen and Olive Negus of New York. Lucy's parents (Josiah Allen and Olive Negus) were in Pompey, Onondaga County, New York when Lucy was born. Lucy signed as witness on a deed for her mother as Lucy Hoar in Fabius, Onondaga County, New York. Her mother was Olive Babcock (remarried) at the time. Lucy Allen and Hiram Hoar were married by 1830. I have a copy of a deed for heirs of Josiah Allen in LaFayette, Onondaga County, New York, formerly Pompey, with Lucy Allen as an heir 1828 not yet married. Lucy Allen is also listed as a member of Fabius Baptist Church as having married a Hoar.
