  H&H20; AC2; studied at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland gaining B.A.(1813); he + studied further at Trinity College, Cambridge gaining M.A.(1826). A cleric, he + was Rector of Upper Isham, nr Kettering, Northants (1826-29), and then Vicar of + Barkby, nr Leicester (1828-73). He was the author of several sermons, etc. He + inherited the family estates in Cork, Ireland. He died at Western Villa, + Malvern, Worcs and is buried at Barkby Church. AO2; describes him as 'of St + Mary's Leicester' (cf under his son HOARE Edward Henry); BLC; lists some + letters, etc under his name. PREF Rev.
