Hoar May 28, 1969 - April 14, 2010 SOUTH BEND - Brian J. Hoar, 40, of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. in his residence. Mr. Hoar was born May 28, 1969, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Robert J. Hoar and J. Ellen (Baird) Hoar, who both survive. Brian also leaves behind a brother, Patrick J. (Tiffany) Hoar of Knox, IN, and his companion, John Chubb of South Bend, IN. He came from Fort Wayne, IN, before settling in South Bend six months ago. He graduated from Leo High School, Leo, IN, and was a graduate in fine arts from Indiana-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, IN. He was a wonderful, caring son and brother who loved his family and will be missed dearly by them. There will be no services or visitation at this time. His wishes were to be cremated, which his family honored. Burial will take place at Weaver Cemetery, Bairdstown, OH. The HANLEY and Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Hoar family.
