      Gregory A. Hoar, 50
      GORHAM - Gregory A. Hoar, 50, of Winterberry Drive, died April 22, 2004, at his residence.
      He was born in Portland, a son of Clayton F. and Helen I. Mace Hoar.
      Gregory was known as a 'people person', and a wonderful husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, and especially enjoyed the time he spent with his dog, Tiger, and his cat, Taz.
      He is survived by his father and mother of Portland;
      his wife, Flo Hoar of Gorham; two daughters, Kathy Thompson of North Waterboro, Krista Talmer of Arundel; son, Gregory C. Hoar of Gorham; three brothers, Clayton E. Hoar, Ricky Hoar, Lee Forest; a sister; Patty Hill; grandchildren, Brittney Thompson, Brooke Thompson, Austin Thompson, Katelyn Talmer.
      Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at Hay & Peabody Funeral Home, 749 Congress Street, Portland, where a funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday. A committal service will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St. Portland. The Rev. Jacob Watson will officiate.
