Sheldon died in Scio, N. Y., Jan. 19th, after an illness of five days. She was formerly Caroline Hoard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hoard, and was born in Perry Center March 1822. She was married in 1844 to Joseph N. Sheldon, They lived in Perry several years then moved to Scio, where she has spent most of her married life. For many years she has lived a conscientious, christian life. She has buried her husband, son Howard and daughter Martha, leaving one son Byron of Scio, to mourn the loss of a very kind and loving mother.
