  [[ Obituary: Flint Journal, The (MI) - November 6, 2003 Deceased Name: HOARD HOARD, Mr. Russell G. - A life long resident of Millington, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2003, while at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw, MI. Russ was 67 years old. Russ was born June 28, 1937 in Millington and was the son of Albert and Adorna (Daly) Hoard. In 1956 Russ married his wife of 47 years, Geneieve. Russ was employed for 44 years with the AC-Delphi Plant of GM in Flint and was also a member of the UAW Local 651. Russ leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Genevieve; and their son Russ both of Millington; 2 granddaughters, Shera M. Hoard and Jaime Lynn Hoard; and a great-granddaughter Skylar Marie; as well as two sisters, Evelyn Yost of Vassar and Uneta Krause of FL; special niece and her husband Adorna and Joe Mallard; and their daughter Jillie; special nephew, David Yost; as well as several other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington where the family will be present on Thursday from 2PM until 8PM. Funeral services for Russ will be conducted on Friday, November 7, 2003 at 1PM at the Hanlin Funeral Home, with the burial to follow at the Pinegrove Cemetery in Arbela Twp. If anyone would like to give a gift of rememberance in Russ's memory, the family has asked if you would consider doing so to the Millington-Arbela Historical Society, the Millington Community Center or to the American Cancer Society. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Hoard family with the funeral arrangements.
