HOARD, Ray D. Age 96 Of Kalamazoo Died Monday afternoon, June 13, 2011 at the Borgess Medical Center. He was born in Kalamazoo on January 6, 1915. Ray enjoyed gardening, raising rabbits, and bowling. Ray married Anna E. Coffman; she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Norma Sosinski and his son, Ronald Hoard. Ray is survived by his five grandchildren, Cheryl (Butch) Miller of Kalamazoo, Tracy (Tom) Snyder of Byron Center, Jennifer (Mike) Powell of New York, Steven (Nicole) Hoard of New York and Diane (Michael) Robbins of Delton; seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. At the request of the family, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to charity of your choice.
