  Information on this family was kindly contributed by Gloria: gb_ishida(at)yahoo.com Surname (spelling) used in England was Lansdell. and... Dorothy (Lansdale/Lansdell) Sawyer may not have been born in Ninfield, we do know she was baptized in Bexhill (only a few miles from Ninfield)..... when I went to England, I found according to land records, Dorothy's father is recorded as living in Ninfield when Dorothy was a young adult and earlier in Bexhill. Stephen Sawyer's family had moved to Hooe, a couple miles from Ninfield, when Stephen was a teen.
