Born in Canada, the family immigrated to NY and then onto Branch County, Michigan about 1840. She there married Solomon Harvey Hoard in 1843 and soon moved to Antrim Twp., Shiawassee County. She bore 4 children...William H, Chauncey B, Alice L, and Charles P Hoard. They adopted one girl named Mary that died at 19 yrs old. Harvey died before 1880 and no information on him has been located, though I suspect he is here as well. Living with her daughter Alice in the 1900 census.
