Civil War Veteran
Orlando served as a Sergeant with the 1 Michigan Calvary Company-K. He enlisted on November 23, 1863. Later he was promoted twice the first time on April 1, 1865 to Corporal and the second on July 1, 1865 to Sergeant. He later transferred on November 17, 1865 and was discharged on June 30, 1866.
