  [[Martha M. Hoar MOUNT VERNON ? Martha Marie Hoar, 85, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at the Country Court Nursing Center. She was born Nov. 8, 1919, in Bellville, the daughter Leonard and Edna (Winbigler) Henry. Martha was retired from Mount Vernon Developmental Center where she was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 29 years. She is survived by two sons, Terry (Leora) Hoar of Whitehall and John (Jean) Hoar Jr. of Medina; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Lawrence Henry of Mount Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Hoar Sr., in 1983. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with the Rev. Jamie Gump officiating. Friends may call Monday from noon until the time of service. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Knox County, 302 E. High St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
