She was born in Ellenville April 6, 1906, a' daughter of Merritt and Mathilda Dietsch Strouse. She was married to Wilson Hoar who died March 28, 1960. She was a member of St. John's Memorial Episcopal Church, Ellenville. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mathilda Strouse; a son, Robert Hoar; a brother, Fred Strouse all of Ellenville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Monday May 15 at 2 p. m. from Loucks Funeral Home Inc.. Ellenville. The Rev. Ronald A. Smith wHl officiate. Burial will be in Fantinekill.
